Anse Source d'Argent is synonyms to La Digue Island, the most photographed beach in the world. You should not miss it. The only setback is that you need to go through a private property to get there and they will ensure that you pay a small fee to have access.

If you are a bird lover, there is the Veuve Reserver close to Bernique. L'Union Estate is another familiar attraction. L’Union is a plantation house with the old tradition still going on. They have a Copra Knil available, where coconuts are dried up to make oil.

Under the SeaYou can also visit the different islands that are close to La Digue Island - Sister, Coco and Curieuse. You have to pay a landing fee on some of the islands. Snorkelling is at its best at Coco Island. However, there is no beach there so you need to be a keen snorkeler.

We should not forget the day trips for fishing. La Digue is close to the African plateau drop offs (where the ocean drops from normal depts. to thousands of meters straight down). Bottom fishing is at its best in these locations.

If you have decided to make La Digue your base camp and you wish to visit Praslin Island, there are scheduled crossing on mornings and evenings by cat rose ferry. Public transports are on time table in Praslin.
